I am from Hueysville.went to the church when we lived in Hueysville.I enjoyed reading abount the church on the web.i knew the Hayes as a child when we lived there Harlan Sexton was my grandfather.May God bless you all.Geraldine Cowen

Our deepest appreciation goes to (well actually God is first) then out to Chester Varney, he is the vessel sent by God to help us keep the faith..My family and I have always loved him (Chester). God is our most important thing in this lfe,but wee need to remember who is our link to him(GOD).We moved away a few years ago, and don't get to go there but in our hearts we will remember who our real church family is..God bless you Hueysville Church of Christ...</p>

Thank you for sharing the Church history. I have my mother's (Eleanor Gearheart) copy of the Kentucky Cookbook which I cherish to this day, and use my grandmother's (Frona Gearheart) recipe for Chicken and Dumplings. I did not realize that the cookbook I have made such a big difference in the history of the Church.

I don't have very many memories of church as a child without Chester in them. Chester helped form mine and my husband's lives in so many ways--his preaching helped us to live Godly lives and his laughter filled us with joy as it still does! We even credit Chester for getting my husband and I together after a chance run in at Wal-Mart when he asked if we were dating and after an awkward moment my now husband decided to say, yes we are--even though he hadn't asked me! haha We love you Chester!!!

Just ask for prayer for quidence from God for the right direction and that I do his will. Pray that I dont make the same mistakes and dissapoint God. That God open my heart so I can hear from him. Sometime my heart seem so cloudy and it seems as if though my dreams are fading. I'm trying to write a book about the moments of my life so that the struggles that i've been through I let others know that with God always being the center of my life.
